Ability Counts Online Auction
Following on from the success of last year's auction for our Bid4Bus appeal, Football in the Community is pleased to announce their next ‘Big' auction.
Last Summer through our ‘Bid4Bus' online auction we managed to raise just over £1,500 towards the purchase of our FITC Minibus. Along with sponsorship and further fundraising events the bus was purchased and is currently helping many people access football and sports activities around the county.
This year we are looking to raise money for our ‘Ability Counts' programme, which looks to help over 2,000 adults and children with physical and learning disabilities.
We have received several donated items from Norwich City 1st Team, which include several signed player issue, shorts from, Darren Huckerby, Adam Drury, Robert Earnshaw, Youssef Safari, Andy Hughes and Jurgen Colin. Other items from the 1st Team include signed player issue Rugby Shirts, player issue rain jackets and Academy Flybe kit.
Ex Norwich players Danny Mills (Manchester City) and Adam Smith (Peterborough) have also pledged their support to the appeal by donating, their match worn football shirts. Danny has signed his front and back and Adam has got the whole 1st Team to sign.
Following a recent visit to our facility at Carrow Park, former Liverpool GK Bruce Grobbelaar also pledged his support by signing gloves and a football shirt.
The auction will last for 2 weeks and will be starting on Monday 13th August and running until Sunday 26th August taking place through the FITC Ebay Store, visit our store today for a glimpse of some pre auction items at:
