Boys PDC fixtures v Cambridge Half Term Review

During the February half-term, players from across our Player Development Centres (PDC) took on their counterparts from Cambridge United.

On Wednesday, the U8, U9 & U10 squads contested some exciting games with lots of good attacking play, resulting in some high-scoring and entertaining matches.

Following a training day on Thursday, the U11, U12, U13 as well as the U14 squad, played their fixtures on the Friday. The standard of play was particularly pleasing, with the players looking to get the ball on the floor and pass it, leading to lots of scoring opportunities being created.

The PDC squad fixtures provide a great opportunity for the best performing players from our Centres across Norfolk to get together and test their progress against players from other League clubs, whilst also giving them the chance to impress in a different environment.

The performance of all of the squads drew praise from FITC Development Manager Steve Eastaugh, who commented: "It is really pleasing to see how the boys react in these fixtures, which are a good indicator of their development and progress."

Our thanks go to Tom Pell, coaching staff and players of Cambridge United for their participation.
