Girls Centre of Excellence Tour Update

Day 1

After ariving at Nottingham the girls quickly unpacked and settled into their rooms. The girls and their coaches then made the short trip to the swimming pool. After the swim the girls then settled into their villas to prepare their evening meal which included lasange. The girls then relaxed and had an early night!

Day 2

As I write this we are on our way to our fixture against Crewe and Hull. The girls are in good spirits as they sing their way to the fixture. The girls will be in touch with you all later as signal at centre parcs isn't great!

It was mixed news in terms of results for the four age groups.

U10's were the most successful of the four squads coming from behind in their 1st game against Hull to draw 1-1.  Their second game also saw them finish on top beating Crewe 3-1.

U12's were unlucky against Hull in their first game, narrowly losing by the 1 goal, which was not deserved after an entertaining performance from the girls.  They then made amends by securing a creditable win soon after against Crewe.

U14's will wonder how they didnt come away with anything after their first game losing 2-1 against Hull, they then faced a very strong Crewe side who scored 5 past them!

The U16's were slow out of the blocks against Hull and when the opposition scored the opener it took till the final seconds of the game for the equaliser.  This seemed to spur them on for their second game against Crewe, where they scored first themselves and went on to thwart the Crewe side and prevent them from equalising.

Back at Centre Parcs the girls have took part in the Easter Egg hunt and eaten their Pizza ans Pasta.  Tonight the girls will do a bit of shopping in the villa plaza before going for a swim and back to their villas.

Tomorrow its Alton towers!

Day 3

A little lay in was on the cards, and that was exactly what the girls were treated too!  Ok well thats what was supposed to happen, a few of them had different ideas!

The girls then made the short journey to Alton Towers where they showed the coaches just how 'hard core' they were.

It was then back to Centre Parcs to have an evening meal at Huckleberrys on site.

The girls will then have an opportunity for one final swim before heading back to the villas to pack their bags for their departure tomorrow.

We will keep you updated as and when we can tomorrow about our arrival time so please check back to the website when you get the opportunity.

Enjoy your last night without the girls.....
