FITC Staff

In order to ensure the quality delivery of all lessons in the School Sports Programme FITC ensures that all staff have the following qualifications and experience.

• Level 2 qualification in a minimum of 1 Sport
• Level 1 qualifications in other sports
• FA Teachers Certificate
• FA Coaching Disabled Footballers or equivalent
• Experience delivering sports in schools
• Knowledge of school policies and procedures
• 1st Aid Certificate
• Enhanced CRB Check
• Child Protection Certificate

All staff undertake regular in service training and are assessed regularly internally by the FITC School Sports Co-ordinator and or Head Teacher. Each FITC coach is also mentored and assessed prior to delivering any lessons in the school sports programme.
