FITC Term Time Actvities are up and running

FITC are pleased to announce the dates and venues for all of their Term Time Activities from September to December.

There are activities to suit all children aged 3 to 15 from Soccer Tots and Mini Kickers through to Girls Only Soccer Centres and Goalkeeping Centres.

Soccer Tots

Soccer Tots is our latest initiative to work with younger footballers. It is aimed at children aged 3 and 4 with each weekly session designed specially to increase your child's balance, co-ordination and self confidence, whilst also learning basic movements with the use of a football.

Coach to children ratios are high to ensure learning and development takes place, with parental interaction highly encouraged.

The sessions are run on Monday afternoons indoors at Trowse YMCA Sports Hall. The 12 week course begins Monday 8th September, and costs £36.

Mini Kickers  

Mini Kickers is for children aged 4 to 6 and provides the next step after Soccertots for children who enjoy playing football in a fun environment.

Mini Kickers helps youngsters to improve fundamental movements, listening, social and basic football skills.

FITC's team of enthusiastic coaches ensure that children learn through playing fun games, skill tests and small matches.

Mini Kickers is run either on Wednesday afternoons or Saturday mornings at Carrow Park.

The Wednesday course is from 4pm - 5pm and is £36 for 12 weeks and commences Wednesday 10th September.

Saturday's course is from 9.30 to 10.30 for 4 year olds and from 10.30 to 11.30 for 5 and 6 year olds. The 14-week course commences Saturday 13th September, and costs £42.  

Soccer Centres

Soccer Centres are run in the evenings and are open for both boys and girls aged 5 to 12 years.

Each venue is run over 12 weeks and costs £36, and all venues kick off the week commencing Monday 8th September.

At every Soccer Centre the children will have the chance to learn all of the basics of football including passing, shooting, dribbling and ball skills, with each session finishing with a game. Also the children have the chance to win the most improved trophy at each venue and the chance to be selected for one of our Player Development Centres.

Girls Only Soccer Centre

The Girls Only Soccer Centres offer opportunities for girls aged 7 to 12 years to take part in weekly coaching sessions in a female environment, using the experience of the FITC female coaching team.

The course will enable each player to learn new and different techniques in shooting, passing, turning, dribbling, heading and match play.

Each player will receive an attendance certificate signed by an NCFC player at the end of the course and each player has the opportunity to be selected for the FITC Girls PDC.

The course is for 12 weeks on a Tuesday night 5.00pm - 6.00pm at Carrow Park and costs £36. The course commences Tuesday 9th September.

Soccerettes

Soccerettes is for girls aged 4 to 6, providing an introductory course to children who enjoy playing football in a fun environment.

FITC's team of enthusiastic female coaches ensure that children learn through playing fun games, skill tests and small matches.

The course is on Tuesday nights from 4.00pm - 5.00pm at Carrow Park for 12 weeks and costs £36. The first session kicks off on Tuesday 9th September.

Aviva Match Nights

Friday nights have now become Aviva Match Nights, with matches-only sessions taking place at five venues across Norfolk.

Match Nights are open to boys and girls aged 6 to 12, and over the 12 weeks of the course each child will have the opportunity to play in structured matches and learn key skills in preparation for the matches.

The venues are:

Thorpe High School 5.30pm-6.30pm

Taverham High School 5.30pm-6.30pm

Cliff Park High School 5.30pm-6.30pm

Watton Sports Club 5.30pm-6.30pm

Acle Recreation Ground 5.00pm - 6.00pm

Goalkeeping Soccer Centres

FITC recognise the specific training that young goalkeepers need to improve their knowledge of the game.

So FITC are continuing the highly popular Goalkeeping Soccer Centres, which will give boys and girls the opportunity to work on topics such as handling, shot stopping, crosses, diving and 1 v 1s. Each topic is broken down and delivered so the key points can be absorbed.

The venues are:

Carrow Park NCFC - Fridays          

6.00pm - 7.00pm (ages 6-10)     12 weeks - £36

7.00pm - 8.00pm (ages 11-15)   12 weeks - £36

Cliff Park Middle School, Gorleston - Wednesdays 5.00pm - 6.00pm 6 weeks - £21
